 Dick Tracy (1990)
IMDB rating: 5.70
Plot: All Tess Trueheart wants is to settle down to a quiet life with her boyfriend, detective Dick Tracy. I need a first and last name for private investigator in the 30's?
Like Dick Tracy, but alot darker. I need a noir fiction character that I can name my animation after. He’s the main character so his name needs to stand out. However it has to be original and believable. Be creative. If you can’t come up with a first name, that’s fine, just a last name will do.

THE PRICE OF GAS vs. PRINTER INK… here's a humorous approach to getting thru the gas…?
…crunch… price comparison hmmm?
now bear in mind these examples do not imply that gasoline is cheap… it just illustrates how outrageous some prices are… you just may be shocked by the last one.. hmm.. think a gallon of gasoline is expensive? take a gander at this..
Diet Snapple 16oz $1.29…$10.32 gal. Lipton ice tea 16oz $1.19… $9.52 gal. Gatorade 20oz $1.59… $10.17 gal Ocean Spray 16oz $1.29… $10.00 gal Brake Fluid 12oz $3.15… $33.60 gal Vick’s Nyquil 6oz $8.35… $178.13 gal White Out 7oz $1.39 $25.42 gal Scope 1.5 oz $0.99… $84.48 gal Pepto Bismol $4oz $3.85… $123.20 gal
& the real kicker Evian water 9oz $1.49… $21.19 gal…and the buyers don’t even know the source! Evian spelled backwards is Naive(duh!) boy are we all very green! wonder why printers are so cheap?.. they have you hooked on ink… $5,200.00 gal???!!! (ouch!) shocking!
when you are at the pump be glad your car doesn’t run on Water, Scope, Snapple, Nyquil, Whiteout, or God forbid printer ink!
WYT?
What I think is that you’re a very astute consumer. I asked a while back for people to list anything they could think of that costs less than gasoline when purchased in gallon sizes. I don’t think anyone came up with anything, though there is one - bottled distilled water. Sometimes now you can find milk for less than gasoline per gallon, but sometimes you can’t.

Do you believe this article about swine flu?
The swine flu outbreak was a ‘false pandemic’ driven by drug companies that stood to make billions of pounds from a worldwide scare, a leading health expert has claimed.
Wolfgang Wodarg, head of health at the Council of Europe, accused the makers of flu drugs and vaccines of influencing the World Health Organisation’s decision to declare a pandemic.
This led to the pharmaceutical firms ensuring ‘enormous gains’, while countries, including the UK, ’squandered’ their meagre health budgets, with millions being vaccinated against a relatively mild disease.
A resolution proposed by Dr Wodarg calling for an investigation into the role of drug firms has been passed by the Council of Europe, the Strasbourg-based ’senate’ responsible for the European Court of Human Rights.
An emergency debate on the issue will be held later this month.
Dr Wodarg’s claims come as it emerged the British government is desperately trying to offload up to ?1billion of swine flu vaccine, ordered at the height of the scare.
If this is true I think the media are also to blame as well as some Government officials.
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article- 1242147/The-false-pandemic-Drug-firms-ca shed-scare-swine-flu-claims-Euro-health- chief.html?ITO=1708&referrer=yahoo
Swine Flu was real and was not invented. However, it was hyped up beyond the real danger. When the public is hyped up the government and media react to this hyping it further. Ultimately it was a more resistant strain of flu.

Plot: A family film about a mouse that lives in an old house where the geriatric owner dies, and ‘Nathan Lane’ (qv) and ‘Lee Evans (I)’ (qv) have plans for, but they have trouble getting rid of the mouse. It’s like Home Alone with a mouse.

Tips On Catching Mice?
So I don’t want to give this thing too much credit, but if you’ve Mousehunt with Nathan Lane just take that down a few notches and you’ll know what I’m dealing with.
It’s crafty and ballsy, to the point it’ll run right past me through the middle of the room, it has gotten the peanut butter off of 5 different traps without even setting them off, it moved the sticky pad completely (I don’t know if it was on it, it looks like it, but it was moved away from the wall the next morning) and it is LIVING in my printer.
I’m all for being humane but I’m sick of hearing him running around the basement (where I live) and I’m tired of emptying my printer tray of mouse turds and the crap he carries. I want him dead.
Anyone have some good suggests? I’ve tried sticky pads, mouse kill, traps and nothing works. Any brands of traps that have been foolproof, because this thing is starting to get to me.
they sell ones not that in order to get to the food they have to go into a box and than they can not get out
pickmefirstplz | Dec 14, 2009
Get the largest sticky pad you can find. Put a small dab of PB in the center and set it out. If he has to step on it to reach the PB he’ll be stuck. There’s no way he can step on that sticky pad and get off again.

A Victor snap trap baited with smooth peanut butter(rub it into the trigger pan).If that doesn’t kill him try a rat trap(they’re bigger). If that doesn’t work (HUGE RAT) try a Victor long spring trap or bb gun

What makes a movie/play a great movie/play?
I know you can list the elements that critics always name: dialogue, story, acting, SFX, but when is the story good and when does it suck.
Obviously you can tell if you like a story by watching a movie but I want to know what truly lies at the heart of it.
Why do so many people like Terminator 2, not as many like Avatar and almost nobody like Terminator 3 (even though it was nearly the same movie as the 2nd, people who hadn’t seen the 2nd still thought it sucked). I guess I just want to know what makes a story good rather than a movie/play but what is the psychological need we seem to be driven to fulfill in seeking out these movies, which movies provide that need and why?
I’ve already considered Nostalgia value and that certainly helps bring a more complete consensus about older movies but I didn’t see Terminator until quite recently and Avatar was just yesterday. So I’m afraid that doesn’t really answer my question.
when u first see a movie i.e. terminator. You think it’s a good film and then they keep bringing more out and then you start to gte sick of the storyline. One film i love though is jurassic park, awesome movie.

Evelyn O'Connell - The Mummy.?
Why didn’t Rachel Weisz play Evelyn O’Connell in the Tomb of the dragon emperor?, Maria Bello plays her
She is stated as having left right before shooting due to conflicts with the script. She didn’t like the direction it headed.
Personally, I think her absence really took away from the movie. The substitute just wasn’t Evie.
MoonBear | Jun 19, 2009
they probably couldnt’t get her to sign on for a third installment, either that or they didn’t pay her enough or she was doing something else.
The New 10242 | Jun 19, 2009
i think because the story line changed and she didn’t want to be a part of that.
Crystal | Jun 19, 2009
Rachel Weisz got out. She realised she could do way better for herself than to pedal out umpteen Mummy sequels.
