How to show your the boss.?
Well what i’m really asking here is how to have an obedience dog but yet, show them your the alpha. I can’t take obedience or ask for a personal trainer because my parents won’t pay for it and i’m the type of person that if the parents say no, it’s a no. Why bother argue. So any ideas of how to obedience train your dog. They know lots of commands and tricks but there’s no use for them if there’s no obodience.

One problem i really have trouble is barking. I heard a dog doesn’t really see you as the boss if it constantly barks at you. The only time one of my dog barks at my face is when were playing tennis. I let it go for so long but now i’m just annoyed with it and i don’t know if she will stop. There are also other obedience problems like chewing the wrong things, i never caught her doing it but i see chewed ups stuff all the time and i can’t scold her if i didn’t catch her in the act, jumping on things it’s easy to stop a dog but is there a faster way to make them do it my dogs are pesistant. There are more but i want to learn the basic and those are the three i really want to know.

If you can’t take obedience classes or use a trainer, then you will have to do quite a bit of studying, reading and researching on your own.

Get some good books on obedience training and start reading. There’s no magic or quick fix.

read books at the library. there’s actually a lot of good obedience books in book stores like BAM or B&N. The world wide web is at your leisure, currently I’m always on clicker training web sites and I love clicker training.

Decades ago people didn’t have books or trainers and managed to get the job done. It takes a little more guesswork on your part to do it right but there’s nothing like success when your dog starts to get it. Josie learns more in a traditional way, Zoey learns moreso by shaping her current behaviors. Identify how your dog communicates with you, reinforce the behaviors you like. Books will help you a ton.
