IMDB rating: 4.10 Plot: While being transported in a military ambulance and supposed dead, Eve delivers an offspring and is killed by a half-breed. The baby girl is abducted by Dr. Abbot, and a couple of days later she grows up, reaching adulthood and becoming a gorgeous young woman called Sara. Dr. Abbot expects to develop a perfect DNA using Sara’s eggs and win the Nobel Prize, and invites the student Dean to be his assistant and share his research and future awards. But while Sara unsuccessfully chases a perfect mate for her to generate a perfect being, the flawed half-breeds leaded by Amelia try to reproduce with her to survive their species. |

Buffer/polyprotic acid?
In each of the following, a very small amount of a solution is added to a buffer solution
that has a certain pH. The solution that is added contains a species that can gain or lose
one or more protons somewhere in the range of normal pH values , as can be judged from
the table of acid dissociation constants. (Note that so little solution is added that it does
not change the pH of the buffer to any appreciable extent.) For each of a, b, and c, do the
following:
(i.) Give the chemical formula of the species in the added solution that can
gain or lose protons.
(ii). Give the chemical formula for each species that can be produced when
the answer to (i) gains or loses one or more protons in the normal pH range.
(iii). Give the chemical formula for the species in (i) or (ii) that has the
highest concentration when the system comes to equilibrium.
a. A sodium phosphate Na3PO4 solution is added to a pH = 9 buffer solution.
b. A benzoic acid C6H5COOH solution is added to a pH = 11 buffer solution.
c. A sodium fluoride NaF solution is added to a pH = 1 buffer solution.
